Jollehuset is located in the legendary old fish warehouses “The Bindesbøll Houses” at Skagen Harbour. They were designed by Thorvald Bindesbøll, who were one of the most original architects of his time. Thorvald Bindesbøll stayed for a period of time at Brøndums hotel and had close relations to other architects and Skagen painters like Ulrik Plesner, Holger Drachmann and P. S. Krøyer.
The Bindesbøll houses were completed in 1907, the year the harbor was also inaugurated, and is over 100 years old.
At Jollehuset we want to create a place full of personality and good vibes in great surroundings. We do not compromise on either service or quality, and all raw materials are carefully selected.
